The Levinson Firm, LLC has been family-owned since 1981. What Larry Levinson started as a general practice transformed into a thriving estate planning practice in the mid-1990's. As the firm's clients aged, Larry noticed they were asking more questions about long-term care and aging-related issues.

In 2002, he added elder law to the practice to meet his and other clients' needs. As one of the first law firms in Delaware focused not just on estate planning, but also on elder law, we have been at the forefront of advocating for our clients' right to asset protection and long-term care Medicaid benefits. We filed our first Medicaid application in 2003, hired a former Medicaid case worker in 2006 who has been with us ever since, and have assisted our clients in filing hundreds, if not thousands, of Medicaid applications since.

Larry's oldest daughter Karla joined the practice in 2007 and practiced with her dad until he passed away suddenly in 2014. Karla then took over the firm. Larry's youngest daughter Linda left a nursing career and now also practices law. Larry's middle daughter Julia is the office manager. The three Levinson sisters are proud to continue assisting clients across Delaware with their estate planning and elder law needs.

Adding two other attorneys and a valuable, experienced staff to our team has only made our practice thrive and be able to better serve families.
