Losing a loved one is so hard. Don't let the administrative tasks add even more stress during this difficult time.
How Can We Help?
Small Estate:
If your loved one's assets were less than $30,000 and they did not own real estate in their name alone, our office can help execute a Small Estate Affidavit to help transfer the remaining assets to their beneficiaries.
Probate:
If your loved one owned real estate in Delaware or had assets worth more than $30,000 in their individual name, their estate will need to go through probate with the Register of Wills. This can be overwhelming, but don't worry, our attorneys can help detail every step of the process.
Trust Administration:
If your loved one had a trust, we're here to help make sure their final wishes are honored exactly as they wanted. Let our attorneys walk you through the process of settling the trust, inventorying the assets, and ultimately, distributing the trust assets to their intended beneficiaries.
Probate AND Trust Administration:
If based on their assets and planning, you need to open an estate with the Register of Wills and administers a trust, our attorneys can put together a plan of action to get everything closed out as easily as possible.
Our attorneys and staff are here to make this process as smooth as possible for you and your family. We understand that dealing with an estate on top of grieving can be overwhelming. Our goal is simple; allow us to assist so you can focus on what's important—remembering your loved one.
(Our office does NOT handle contested estates, trusts, or probate.)
